Learn Italian - EuroTalk App Reviews

Yahoo finally a great language app

I have to say, this is fantastic. It appears to be costly for an app but thats ok. I spent hundreds of dollars on my Rosetta stone and love it so this is great too. I can have a similar method for practicing italian, my goal is to one day be fluent and go back to Tuscany...spent my birthday last year in volterra. The Italians are so lucky to live where they live. But enough about that. Games can be played to test your skills, and be sure to download the flashcards and upgrade to the full version. But only if you really want to learn another language. The more tools you have the better, so you cannot go wrong. I may also download French and Spanish. I studied Spanish years ago, but know no French and love the language too. Have fun all, this makes learning a new language great, portable, convenient and so much more. M.

Great but,

Would like to see the alphabet on here so my child can learn the basics of reading words in this particular language.

Pretty but limited

This app is beautiful to use but u would expect more content for the price. There are a number of free or much cheaper apps that will do pretty much the same thing.

Great App - But disappeared

I really like this app but when I did the new 4 update this app completely disappeared from my phone, store and everywhere. It only shows that I purchased it in my account. The app does not show as previously purchased. Wasted 2 days trying to get it back but no luck. For an expensive app this should not happen.

Bypass your native language!

The fun thing about this app is that it shows you photos and you learn the words to go with the photos, bypassing your native language completely. So the words mean what they mean, rather than being a translation. This makes them stick faster. So when I look at a head, for example, I can think, "la testa" without having to think, "the word for head is..." I go from the photo to Italian, without having to go through English at all. This is much better than apps that take you through translations only. That being said, you only get a starter vocabulary here. Body parts, foods & dishes, basic phrases, numbers, colors, and a few more categories. BUT these will stick with you, making a nice framework for the vocabulary you add later. If you want to learn Italian but dont know where to start, this will put some new words solidly in your vocabulary, if you work with it. The Easy quiz and then the Easy+ quiz for each list are the parts that really made the words stick in my mind. Even if you only have a little time each day, repeating those quizzes will make the words stay familiar. You can learn this! This app is a good starring point, especially if getting started seems like the hardest part. Enjoy!

Okay but.......

I just purchased this app. I like the layout and performance but there is not much content. I expected more vocabulary and more phrases considering the price. There arent even enough food words to order in a restaurant. The numbers only go to twenty. More content please. I feel a bit ripped off.

Severely limited for a paid app

A slick app that really falls short in terms of amount of content. Even as a quick crash course, there are glaring holes in basic communication vocabulary. Very disappointing for a paid app.
